Operations log

A daily list of fingerprints anyone can read.

Each certificate SHA-256 is written to this append-only log and folded into a Merkle root for that UTC day. After the day closes, the root is submitted to OpenTimestamps.

What this means for you

Other people can see which day your ID appeared. Inserting an earlier certificate into a day that is already public would fail to match the published root.

The Bitcoin anchor sends the same fingerprint to public calendars and into a block. For you, the time is no longer only in IdeaProofNow’s database. A claim that we rewrote the stamp time also has to explain the chain record.

This is still not a notary instrument, and it is not a licensed trusted timestamp. It covers the risk that a single operator could rewrite its own database. File a qualified timestamp or a notary act separately if you need one.

The log does not publish the original file. At verification you still produce a file that matches the fingerprint.

Daily public roots

No public records yet. The first stamp of a day appears here.
